Vocational Traning

Not everybody travels the same road, and there is more than one route to a college-level future. Our vocational programs stress skill-specific instruction that ends up in real employment and independent employment. We have courses available in tailoring, electrical mechanics, plumbing, carpentry, cell phone repair, beauty work, and many other skills-jobs that never lose their appeal and can be begun with minimum financial resources.

Our training is hands-on, practical, and conducted by experienced trainers who emphasize doing over theory. We also assist learners with foundational business skills-how to handle money, deal with customers, and build a small business one step at a time. Some of our trainees end up opening their own workshops or providing services in their communities.

Also, we provide job placement, toolkits, and certification to enhance employability. Through learning a trade, people become self-assured earners, usually taking care of their families and motivating others in their circles. Vocational education is a strong force against the cycle of poverty, and we're happy to be among those bringing change.
